HDPE Puddle Flange

HDPE Puddle Flange is a waterproof sealing component designed for building through-wall pipe systems, mainly used to prevent moisture from penetrating through the pipe through the wall. This waterproof flange made of PE100 high-density polyethylene material has become an ideal choice to replace traditional metal waterproof flanges due to its excellent corrosion resistance, long-lasting sealing performance and simple installation process.

HDPE Puddle Flange Structure and Core Functions

HDPE Puddle Flange consists of three parts: HDPE flange, EPDM rubber water stop ring and stainless steel fastening system. Its working principle is based on multiple waterproof barrier design: the flange fits tightly with the surface of the building structure to form the first barrier; the elastic water stop ring forms the second seal on the outer wall of the pipe; the fastening system provides continuous compression to ensure long-term sealing effect.

The product can withstand 1.0MPa positive pressure and 0.1MPa negative pressure (for 60 minutes at 23℃), and the system allows a deviation angle of less than 15°, with excellent seismic resistance. Compared with metal flanges, HDPE waterproof flanges will not produce electrochemical corrosion and have a service life of more than 50 years.

Installation precautions:

The embedded casing should be 2 specifications larger than the pipe

The flange and the structure surface should be clean and dust-free

Tightening bolts should be evenly applied to avoid over-tightening on one side

A 24-hour water pressure test is required after installation
