Butt Fusion HDPE End Cap is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe end closure using hot-melt butt welding technology, which is specially used for the end sealing of HDPE pipeline systems. The product is fused with the pipe end face through high-temperature heating to form a permanent, leak-free closed structure, which is suitable for pipeline terminal protection in the fields of municipal water supply and drainage, petrochemical, gas transmission, and farmland irrigation.

Construction Guide
Pretreatment: Cut the pipe end face and mill it flat to ensure that there is no oil stain or burr.
Heating and welding: Use HDPE Buttfusion Welding Machine to heat the end cap and the pipe end to a molten state (210±10℃).
Butt pressurization: Quickly align and apply constant pressure (refer to GB/T 19809).
Cooling inspection: After natural cooling, check whether the welding circle is uniform and full.

Construction process

HDPE cap is a pipe or container seal made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material, mainly used to close the open ends of pipelines, inspection wells, storage tanks and other facilities to prevent medium leakage, foreign matter intrusion or external environmental corrosion.
