Installation and construction points

Connection method

Solvent bonding: Use PVC special glue (CPVC Cement), curing time <30 minutes.

Threaded connection: NPT threaded interface (need to add raw tape to seal).

Precautions

Before installation, the burrs on the pipe ends need to be removed to avoid loose bonding.

Reserve a straight section of ≥5cm at both ends of the elbow to reduce the impact of the water hammer effect.

Common problems

Leakage: mostly due to uneven application of glue, the entire socket surface needs to be covered.

Rupture: Antifreeze is required during construction in winter, and the embrittlement temperature of PVC is -5℃.

Purchase suggestions

Give priority to national standard products to avoid the risk of pipe bursting due to insufficient wall thickness.

CPVC materials (temperature resistance up to 93°C) should be used in chemical scenes.

Hydrostatic test (GB/T 6111): No leakage after maintaining pressure for 1 hour at 1.5 times the pressure.
